Interested Fact : Appeared in the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Was he the child catcher? No wonder he runs a kids team.

When Martin told everyone he was going to run a kids football team most of committee at the club were surprised but 4 years on we are all pleased with the development of the team. The team has come on amazingly over the last 4 years and Martin’s hard work during this period has been all worth it.

Martin also coaches at Tottenham Hotspur as a FA qualified coach and according to Marie spends the rest of his time at Debden Sports. Martin for those of you that didn't know won the grassroots coach of the year for Essex in 2007. Martin has various signed photograph's on sale for anyone interested.

Martin’s favourite TV programme is Coronation Street and has been known to watch 5 continuous hours when he comes home from holiday. Martin didn’t go away with the vets to Portugal this year much to the delight of Pat Dunne. When its was Martin’s round in Barcelona 2004 Pat paid for it. Martin never carries money and when he does its normally the kids lunch money. His favourite saying is they’ll have no lunch this week.

Martin used to play for Birmingham City and also appeared on a reality TV programme. He didn’t want me to mention this as he doesn’t like to talk about it. But he does have photos and the video if anyone is interested.
