Lee Wellington has been a regular consistent performer since joining Sports.

He made 25 appearances, scoring 3 goals last season. Lee is a midfield power house, who never shies away from a hard tackle. Lee's attitude and experience has been invaluable to the squad. Lee has a knack of being able to keep possession when under pressure in key areas of the pitch. He is a physical player who can dish it but can also take it back without any complaints.

Lee will tell you his preferred position is his regular midfield spot, however he has proved to be a very handy centre half, which Wellington has adopted on the odd occasion this season. Lee is not known at the club for his scoring skills, but he showed he can pitch in once in a while. He scored the winner in the away game at Wodson Park with an impressive 40 yard lob over the keeper. Lets hope he adds more to his account this season!
