Best Memory of Debden Sports : Winning the Treble in the Business Houses League in 1986

Worst Memory : The club chairman dying in his car after Dave volunteered to take him home.

Interested Fact : Club Captain at the age of 40.

Dave has been at the club for over 30 years. He was a founder member of the current veterans side but unfortunately he had to retire in 2004 due to hip problems. Most people however believe it his brain that needs replacing.

During his stay with Debden he has been a team manager, club captain and he his now the vice chairman of the club. Dave however believes vice to be something pornographic.

Dave once offered to take home Bill Lane the club chairman of Debden Sports at the time. Dave’s legendary chatting sent Bill into a coma and despite Dave's attempts he unfortunately failed to resuscitate our club chairman. To this day most players in the vets refuse that lift home.

Dave final game of the vets was in Spain against Martorelles which for he was made captain for the day. Dave was substituted in the second half by the grim reaper. The grim reaper did however move faster than Dave on the day.
