League Predictor Sweepstake
The Rules are as follows:-
Closing Date
31st August 2008
Premier League
Predict the order of the top 4 in the premier league. If you get the order correct you get 5 points for each correct team. If you get the team in the wrong order you will get 2 points.
Predict the 5th placed side. 5 points for the correct team.
Predict the relegated sides. If you get the order correct you get 5 points for each correct team. If you get the team in the wrong order you will get 2 points.
Championship / League One / League Two
Predict the promoted sides. If you get the order correct you get 5 points for each correct team. If you get the team in the wrong order you will get 2 points.
Predict the play off teams. If you get the order correct you get 5 points for each correct team. If you get the team in the wrong order you will get 2 points.
Predict the relegated sides. If you get the order correct you get 5 points for each correct team. If you get the team in the wrong order you will get 2 points.
Cup Winners
Predict the 4 cup winners for the season. If you get the prediction correct you will get 5 points. 2 points if the team selected lose in the final.
Champions League Round
Predict the round each team will reach in the Champion's league. These are Group Stage, 2nd Round, Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final. 5 points for each correct prediction.
UEFA Cup Round
Predict the round the team will reach in the UEFA Cup. These are 1st Round, Group Stage, Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final. 5 points for each correct prediction.
England World Cup Results
Predict the result of the England 1st seven world cup group qualifiers. Only put Win, Lose or Draw. 5 Points for each correct prediction.
Sack Race
Predict the League from which the first manager will be sacked. Only the 4 top English Divisions. 5 points for the correct answer.
Predict the first premier league manager to be sacked. 5 points for the correct answer.
Scotland
Predict the winners of the Scottish league, Scottish FA Cup and Scottish League Cup. 5 points if the win the competition and 2 points if they are runner up.
Others
Predict the winners of the 4 main European Leagues. 5 points if they win the league and 2 points if they finish runner up.
Price Fund
Winner 50%
Runner Up 25%
Third 15%
Fourth 10%
Last – Shameful return of £5 of your entry fee.
Results
The results and tables from the sweepstake will be published on our internet site. Check you progress out during the tournament.
