Debden went into this game wanting a strong performance and most importantly 3 points to help them close the gap on the league leaders and take advantage of their three games in hand.

The home side started brightly and got their passing game going early, however the visitors caused a few moments of panic with their counter attacking which kept Debden's sometimes jittery defence on it's toes.

The breakthrough came midway in the half when Steve Ochiltree received the ball 20 yards out, turned and hit a half volley past the despairing dive of the away keeper!

The 2nd half was much the same with Debden dominating but rarely getting into top gear, the inevitable second was added when Captain Joe Hall powered through the midfield to put Ochiltree through for him to slot home!  The third came not long after when Ochiltree headed home an in swinging Lee Pybus corner to claim his hat trick.
